What is the difference between the HJD3090 and the standard JD3090?
The HJD3090 is the high-interrupting capacity version of the JD3090. It provides a 65kAIC rating at 480VAC, whereas the standard JD3090 is rated for 35kAIC at 480VAC. Both share the same physical J-Frame dimensions.
Can the HJD3090 be used in DC voltage applications?
Yes, this breaker is rated for up to 250VDC with a 22kAIC interrupting capacity, making it suitable for compatible direct current systems.
What does the LI trip function mean on this breaker?
The LI designation stands for Long-Time and Instantaneous trip functions. The fixed Long-Time function provides thermal overload protection, while the adjustable Instantaneous function provides magnetic short-circuit protection.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.

Expedited Shipments
