This bolt-on breaker is designed specifically for legacy Federal Pacific NJL series panelboards and switchboards. It is an industrial N-Frame breaker and is not interchangeable with residential FPE load centers.
What wire sizes are accepted by the lugs on this 200A breaker?
The factory lugs accommodate wire gauges from 6 AWG up to 350 kcmil. Ensure proper torque specifications are followed during installation to maintain a secure connection and prevent thermal issues.
Can the NJL632200 be utilized on 240V or 600V systems?
Yes. While commonly deployed on 480VAC systems with a 30kAIC rating, it is also fully rated for 240VAC systems with a maximum interrupting capacity of 42kAIC, and 600VAC systems at 22kAIC.
Are the trip settings adjustable on the NJL632200?
No, this breaker features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. The long-time and instantaneous (LI) protection parameters are factory set and cannot be modified in the field.
Is the Federal Pacific NJL632200 still actively manufactured?
Federal Pacific Electric (FPE) is no longer in business, making original NJL frame breakers legacy components. They are sourced specifically to maintain and service existing FPE industrial infrastructure without requiring a full system upgrade.
Does the NJL632200 share the same design as FPE Stab-Lok breakers?
No. The NJL632200 is a heavy-duty commercial and industrial molded case circuit breaker with a secure bolt-on connection. It does not use the residential Stab-Lok plug-on design.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
