ABB / General Electric THHQB1130GF GFCI Miniature Circuit Breaker

This bolt-on Q-Line breaker is designed specifically for GE A-Series panelboards and GE AQ Lighting Panels. It is not compatible with standard residential plug-on load centers that require THQL style breakers.

The primary difference is the interrupting rating. The THQB1130GF is rated for 10kAIC, while the THHQB1130GF features a higher interrupting capacity of 22kAIC. Both share the same physical dimensions and bolt-on mounting configuration.

The T suffix on the THHQB1130GFT indicates the inclusion of an automatic self-test feature that continuously monitors the internal ground fault circuitry. The THHQB1130GF is the earlier standard version without this automated self-test function.

This breaker provides Class A ground fault protection. It is designed to trip when a ground fault of 5mA is detected, meeting NEC requirements for personnel protection in wet or damp locations.

The THHQB1130GF includes a pigtail neutral wire. This wire must be connected directly to the neutral bus bar in the panelboard to power the internal ground fault monitoring circuitry.

It utilizes a bolt-on connection, meaning the breaker is physically screwed directly to the panelboard bus bar. This provides a secure, vibration-resistant connection commonly required in commercial and industrial applications.
