6 answersWhich panelboards accept the THQB32020 breaker?
This Q-Line bolt-on breaker is designed specifically for General Electric and ABB A-Series lighting panelboards, including AQ and AL types, as well as Pro-Stock panelboards. It cannot be used in residential PowerMark Gold load centers that require plug-in THQL breakers.
What are the load terminal torque specifications for the THQB32020?
The factory box lugs require 35 in-lb of torque when terminating 14 AWG through 10 AWG conductors. If you are using 8 AWG wire, the tightening torque increases to 40 in-lb.
Can I upgrade to a higher interrupting rating using the same frame size?
Yes. If your system requires a higher fault current rating than 10kAIC, you can install the THHQB32020 for 22kAIC or the TXQB32020 for 65kAIC. Both alternative breakers share the exact same Q-Line bolt-on dimensions and mount identically to the standard THQB32020.
Will my THQB32020 breaker arrive with General Electric or ABB branding?
Because ABB acquired GE Industrial Solutions, new production runs of Q-Line breakers carry the ABB brand. You may receive units labeled as either GE or ABB. Both are the identical OEM product, completely interchangeable, and UL listed for the exact same equipment.
Is the THQB32020 rated for HVAC applications?
Yes, this circuit breaker carries an official HACR rating. It is fully UL listed for use with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment that requires multi-motor or combination load protection.
Can the THQB32020 be reverse fed?
Yes. This breaker is suitable for reverse feed applications. The thermal magnetic trip mechanism is not directional, meaning you can safely terminate line power to the load side lugs when used as a back-fed main or in generator setups.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
