The THQC2190 is a lug-to-lug, DIN rail-mounted circuit breaker. It is designed for use in OEM panels, control panels, and enclosures equipped with a standard 35mm DIN rail, rather than standard residential plug-in load centers.
How does the THQC2190 mount into an electrical enclosure?
This breaker features a 35mm DIN rail mounting style. Unlike plug-in (THQL) or bolt-on (THQB) Q-Line breakers, the THQC series uses lug connections on both the line and load sides for a cable-in, cable-out configuration.
Can I use the THQC2190 to replace a THQL2190 or THQB2190?
No. While they share the same electrical ratings within the GE Q-Line family, they have different mounting configurations. The THQC2190 is a DIN rail-mounted breaker, whereas the THQL is a plug-in breaker and the THQB is a bolt-on breaker.
What are the acceptable wire gauges for the THQC2190 terminals?
The line and load lugs accept 6 AWG to 1/0 AWG copper conductors, or 4 AWG to 1/0 AWG aluminum conductors. Ensure proper torque specifications are followed during installation.

Expedited Shipments

These breakers matched perfectly for my main AC supplies for my boat. I had the original 43-year-old Chinese (GenFu) breakers that failed and these GEs were a perfect match. My only reservation for not providing a 5-star review is breakers do not arrive in GE's original packaging which can lead to questions whether they are truly "new" breakers. Otherewise, happy I found some that replaced my originals. Thanks SB!
