While it is compatible with GE PowerMark Gold and PowerMark Plus load centers, the panel must specifically support half-inch THQP breakers. Not all slots in these panels have the required cross-shaped bus tabs to accept them.
What is the physical width of the THQP145 breaker?
As part of the THQP frame family, this is a half-inch wide miniature circuit breaker. It is designed to save space by allowing two single-pole breakers to occupy a single one-inch panel slot.
How does the plug-in connection of a THQP breaker differ from a standard THQL?
THQP breakers mount horizontally across the bus stabs rather than vertically. Your panel must have the specialized rejection clips and cross-shaped tabs to accept this half-inch design.
Is the THQP145 considered a tandem breaker?
The THQP145 is a standalone half-inch breaker, not a single-body tandem breaker. However, installing two THQP breakers side by side in a compatible panel achieves the same space-saving result as a tandem breaker.
Can I force this half-inch breaker into a standard one-inch slot if it does not fit?
No. If the breaker does not easily snap onto the bus, the slot is likely designed only for full-size one-inch breakers. Modifying the breaker or the panel bus to force a fit is a severe safety hazard and violates electrical codes.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
