What enclosures and meter stacks are compatible with the CC2150?
This breaker is designed for use in Eaton 1MP, 1MM, and 3MM meter stacks, as well as Type ECC unit enclosures. It is frequently installed as a dedicated tenant main disconnect in multi-family or commercial metering centers.
Can I replace a legacy CC2150 with a newer CCV2150?
Yes, Eaton specifies the CCV2150 as the direct replacement for the CC2150. When installing the CCV replacement, you may need to reuse and shorten the original CC mounting screws. Eaton also notes that the CCV conductor holes can be drilled out if needed to fit existing bussing.
What is the acceptable wire size range for the CC2150 terminals?
The standard lugs on this breaker accept 4 AWG through 4/0 AWG copper or aluminum conductors.
Are the thermal and magnetic trip points adjustable on this breaker?
No, the CC2150 utilizes fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip elements for long-time and instantaneous (LI) protection.
Does the CC2150 provide ground fault or arc fault protection?
No, this is a standard thermal-magnetic breaker providing only overload and short-circuit protection. It does not include GFCI or AFCI circuitry.
