Can I use the QBA222003 to replace an older Q2 series breaker?
Yes, Square D PowerPacT Q-frame circuit breakers are direct replacements for legacy Q2 series devices, such as the Q22200.
What is the difference between the QBA, QDA, QGA, and QJA series breakers?
The difference is the interrupting capacity. The QBA series is rated at 10kAIC at 240VAC. The QDA is rated for 25kAIC, QGA for 65kAIC, and QJA for 100kAIC.
What wire sizes are accepted by the load lugs on the QBA222003?
The box-type load lugs accept aluminum or copper conductors ranging from 4 AWG to 300 kcmil.
What is the recommended tightening torque for the load lugs on this breaker?
The load lugs should be torqued to 247.8 lb-in (28 N.m).
Does this breaker feature a push-to-trip mechanism?
Yes, PowerPacT Q-frame circuit breakers include an integral push-to-trip button on the cover to manually trip the breaker and verify the mechanical operation.

Expedited Shipments
