5 answersIs the EJB24050 compatible with Square D QO or NQ panelboards?
No. The EJB24050 is an E-frame bolt-on breaker designed specifically for Square D NF series panelboards. It will not fit QO, NQ, or I-Line panelboards.
Can the EJB24050 replace an EDB24050 or EGB24050 breaker?
Yes. The EJB24050 shares the exact same physical dimensions and bolt-on mounting as the EDB24050 and EGB24050. The EJB series simply provides a higher interrupting rating (65kA at 480Y/277VAC) for systems requiring higher fault current protection.
What are the lug torque specifications for the EJB24050?
For the standard lugs, tighten 14 to 10 AWG wire to 34.5 lb-in, and 8 to 2/0 AWG wire to 49.6 lb-in. The lugs accept both copper and aluminum conductors.
Does the EJB24050 feature a trip indicator?
Yes, this breaker includes the Square D Visi-Trip indicator. When the breaker trips due to an overload or short circuit, a highly visible red indicator appears, allowing for quick identification of the faulted circuit.
Is the EJB24050 suitable for HVAC and lighting applications?
Yes, the EJB24050 is HACR rated for use with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. It is also HID rated, making it suitable for switching High Intensity Discharge lighting loads.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
