The EJB24035 is an E-frame breaker designed specifically for use in Square D NF series panelboards. It is a bolt-on breaker and will not fit in QO, NQ, or I-Line panels.
What is the difference between Square D EDB, EGB, and EJB circuit breakers?
The primary difference is their interrupting capacity at 480Y/277VAC. EDB breakers are rated at 18kA, EGB breakers at 35kA, and EJB breakers provide the highest rating at 65kA. They share the same physical dimensions and fit the same NF panelboards.
Does the EJB24035 require a mounting bracket or DIN rail for installation?
No. This is a bolt-on circuit breaker that mounts directly to the busbar of a Square D NF panelboard using mounting screws. It is not designed for DIN rail or plug-on installation.
Can I use the EJB24035 to replace an older EDB24035 or EGB24035 breaker?
Yes. Because the EJB24035 has a higher interrupting rating of 65kA at 480Y/277VAC, it can safely replace EDB or EGB breakers of the same 35A rating and 2-pole configuration in NF panelboards, provided the higher rating meets or exceeds your system requirements.
Is the Square D EJB24035 suitable for reverse feeding?
Yes. Square D E-frame circuit breakers, including the EJB series, do not have a line or load designation printed on the terminals, making them suitable for reverse feed applications.
How can I tell if the EJB24035 has tripped?
The EJB24035 features a visual trip indicator. When the breaker trips due to an overload or short circuit, the handle moves to a center position and a red Visi-Trip indicator appears, making it easy to identify the tripped breaker in a crowded NF panelboard.
Are the trip settings on the EJB24035 adjustable?
No. The EJB24035 features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time and instantaneous trip functions are factory set and cannot be adjusted in the field.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
