The EGB16015 is a bolt-on E-frame circuit breaker designed exclusively for use in Square D NF series panelboards. It cannot be installed in NQ or QO load centers.
What is the difference between the EDB16015, EGB16015, and EJB16015?
The middle letter designates the interrupting capacity rating. For example, at 480Y/277VAC, the EDB is rated for 18 kAIC, the EGB is rated for 35 kAIC, and the EJB is rated for 65 kAIC. All three share the same physical footprint and mount directly into NF panelboards.
Is the EGB16015 suitable for switching lighting loads?
Yes, this 15-amp breaker is SWD (Switching Duty) and HID (High-Intensity Discharge) rated, making it suitable for switching fluorescent and HID lighting circuits on a regular basis.

Expedited Shipments
