The FA36015 features an I-Line plug-on connection designed for Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. The FAL36015 is the unit-mount version of the same F-frame breaker, which uses standard lugs on both the line and load sides.
What are the modern replacements for the legacy FA36015 circuit breaker?
The FA series is a discontinued legacy F-frame design. Schneider Electric recommends modern PowerPact B-frame (such as catalog number BDA36015) or H-frame (such as HJA36015) I-Line breakers as direct upgrades, depending on your panelboard's specific physical space and fault current requirements.
Can the FA36015 be installed in standard QO or NQOD panelboards?
No. This breaker is exclusively designed with plug-on line jaws for Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It will not fit in QO, NQOD, or NF series load centers.
How does the I-Line line-side connection work during a fault?

The Square D FA32100 circuit breaker (refurbished) was as good as a new breaker, without exception. There was no wear and tear or any marks at all. It was basically new. It is an excellent choice and a great product without having to pay the cost of a new breaker.
