The QO2200 requires four standard 3/4-inch pole spaces in a compatible QO load center or NQ panelboard.
Is the QO2200 the correct replacement main breaker for a 200A QO load center?
In most cases, no. The QO2200 is a plug-on breaker intended for branch or sub-feed applications. Most standard 200A QO load centers require a bolt-on QOM2 frame main breaker, such as the QOM2200VH. Always verify your specific panel requirements before ordering.
Can I install the QO2200 in any NQ panelboard?
No. When used as a branch breaker in an NQ panelboard, the QO2200 can only be installed in single-phase 400A and 600A rated interiors. Manufacturer guidelines also restrict the total number of these large frame branch breakers per NEMA 1 enclosure.
Can the QO2200 be installed in a 3-phase QO or NQ panelboard?
No. This 2-pole breaker is designed exclusively for single-phase systems. Installing the QO2200 in a 3-phase interior is strictly prohibited because its wide physical footprint will bridge phases and create a phase-to-phase short circuit.
Will the QO2200 fit onto the bus bars of a Homeline panel?
No. Square D QO and Homeline products are completely incompatible due to differing bus clip designs. The QO2200 will only fit compatible QO load centers and NQ panelboards.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
