The BJ2150 is designed for use in Eaton Type BR load centers rated for at least 150 amps. It is also backward compatible with legacy Westinghouse, Bryant, and Challenger panels that accept Type BJ breakers.
How many panel spaces does the BJ2150 require?
This breaker requires four 1-inch pole spaces for installation. It mounts horizontally across the panel, taking up two spaces on the left side and two spaces on the right side of the bus bar.
Can the BJ2150 be used to replace an older Bryant or Westinghouse breaker?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Cutler-Hammer, Bryant, and Westinghouse breaker lines. The current Eaton BJ2150 is a direct drop-in replacement for legacy Bryant and Westinghouse BJ2150 breakers.
Can this breaker be used as a back-fed main breaker?
Yes, the BJ2150 is frequently used as a plug-on main breaker or sub-feed main in compatible load centers. When back-feeding as a main, a separate hold-down kit is required by the National Electrical Code to secure the breaker to the panel.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.

Expedited Shipments
