The legacy CA-frame breakers are obsolete. If you cannot source a direct replacement, Eaton recommends the ED2200 or FD2200 molded case circuit breakers as modern substitutes for existing Westinghouse or Eaton F-Frame applications.
Will the CA2200 fit into my existing Westinghouse electrical panel?
Yes, this unit-mount breaker is designed for backward compatibility with classic Westinghouse panelboards as well as Eaton F-Frame enclosures.
What is the maximum fault current the CA2200 can safely interrupt, and are higher-rated versions available?
The standard CA2200 provides a 10 kAIC interrupting rating at 240VAC. If your system requires a higher fault current rating in the exact same footprint, you will need to source the CAH2200 (rated for 22 kAIC) or the HCA2200 (rated for 42 kAIC).
What type of wire is compatible with the standard lugs on the CA2200?
The factory-installed line and load lugs on this feed-thru breaker accept both aluminum and copper conductors. The acceptable wire range is 3 AWG to 300 kcmil.

No, the CA2200 features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip mechanism. It provides non-adjustable long-time and instantaneous (LI) overcurrent and short-circuit protection specifically calibrated for 200-amp applications.

Expedited Shipments
