The CH215 is designed exclusively for Eaton CH series load centers, formerly Cutler-Hammer. It features a 3/4-inch per pole format and will not fit BR series or other manufacturer panels.
Can I use this breaker in a Square D QO panel?
No. Although both are 3/4-inch format breakers, the CH215 is not UL listed or physically compatible with Square D QO load centers.
How much panel space does the CH215 require?
As a 2-pole CH series breaker, it requires two 3/4-inch spaces, taking up a total of 1.5 inches on the bus bar.
Does this breaker provide GFCI or AFCI protection?
No, the standard CH215 provides only thermal-magnetic overload and short-circuit protection. For ground fault or arc fault protection, a CH215GF, CH215AF, or dual-function variant is required.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments

When our main breaker frizzed out, the option we were presented with was replacing the entire panel and service due to the type and part - no longer produced for replacement parts. It would be a $6500 replacement.
We'll likely have to do it at some point but, for now, the replacement breaker we were able to source from Superbreakers (with a $25 warranty) was $5900 less expensive. installation ran a few hundred dollars and the tech said the part looked to be in excellent condition and was prepped for install as he would have hoped.
