Description
Designed for heavy-duty power distribution, the Eaton GHB1045 is a 45A, single-pole molded case circuit breaker offering protection for 120/277VAC systems. This breaker is designed for use in Eaton Pow-R-Line C panelboards, including the PRL1a, PRL2a, PRL3a, PRL1X, PRL2X, and PRL3X series, as well as compatible Eaton switchboards and motor control centers.
Can the GHB1045 breaker be reverse fed?
Yes. Eaton G-frame circuit breakers, including the GHB series, do not have line and load side restrictions and are suitable for reverse feed applications.
Is the 45-amp GHB1045 rated for High Intensity Discharge (HID) or Switching Duty (SWD) applications?
No. Eaton GHB breakers are only available with HID and SWD ratings in 15-amp and 20-amp single-pole models. The 45-amp version is not rated for switching fluorescent or HID lighting loads.
Can the Eaton GHB1045 replace older Westinghouse or Cutler-Hammer breakers?
Yes. Eaton manufactures the GHB series, which serves as a direct, drop-in replacement for legacy Cutler-Hammer and Westinghouse GHB1045 breakers.
What is the continuous current rating for this breaker?
Like most standard molded case circuit breakers, the GHB1045 is rated for 80% continuous duty. Continuous loads should not exceed 36 amps (80% of its 45-amp rating) for three hours or more.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping

Good product, but I was disappointed with the service. I accidentally placed two separate orders and ended up paying freight on both. I had requested that they combine the orders, and had that been done with the freight waived, it would have saved me money.
Other than that, everything was good. I’m just disappointed that no one communicated this to me.
