This G-frame breaker is designed to mount into Eaton Pow-R-Line panelboards (including PRL1a, PRL2a, and PRL3a assemblies). It is also compatible with Series C enclosures, switchboards, and motor control centers designed for bolt-on branch breakers.
Can the Eaton GHB3090 replace older Cutler-Hammer or Westinghouse breakers?
Yes. Eaton acquired the Westinghouse electrical distribution division and Cutler-Hammer. The Eaton GHB3090 is manufactured to the same specifications and serves as a direct drop-in replacement for legacy Westinghouse GHB3090 and Cutler-Hammer GHB3090 catalog numbers.
Is the GHB3090 rated for 480V ungrounded Delta systems?
No. While it provides a 14 kAIC interrupting rating at 480Y/277 VAC for solidly grounded wye systems, Type GHB breakers are not suitable for use on 3-phase, 3-wire 480V ungrounded Delta systems.
Does the GHB3090 carry a HACR rating?
Yes, this Series C circuit breaker is HACR rated, meaning it is certified for use in providing branch circuit protection for heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
Is the GHB3090 suitable for reverse feed applications?
Yes, this thermal-magnetic breaker supports reverse feeding. This allows electricians flexibility when configuring line and load conductor connections within the enclosure.
Can the trip settings on the GHB3090 be adjusted in the field?

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments

Good product, but I was disappointed with the service. I accidentally placed two separate orders and ended up paying freight on both. I had requested that they combine the orders, and had that been done with the freight waived, it would have saved me money.
