Yes, this thermal-magnetic Series C breaker is suitable for reverse feed applications. It does not have line and load markings, allowing power to be supplied from either direction.
What is the recommended wire torque for the standard lugs on the K3225?
For the standard 3 AWG to 350 kcmil aluminum or copper lugs, the recommended wire binding screw torque is 375 in-lbs. Always verify the exact torque value printed on the installed lug or breaker label before terminating.
Will the Eaton K3225 replace an older Westinghouse K3225 breaker?
Yes, Eaton acquired the Westinghouse distribution equipment line. The current Series C K3225 is a direct physical and electrical replacement for legacy Westinghouse K3225 breakers.
Can I install the K3225 in a panelboard that originally used JA, KA, or LB breakers?
Yes, the K3225 shares the same physical dimensions as legacy JA, KA, and LB frames. However, because the top terminal tangs are at a different height, you will need a TAD3 adapter spacer on the line side for a proper bus connection.
How does the adjustable magnetic trip function on the K3225 work?
The breaker features a fixed thermal element for overload protection and an adjustable magnetic element for short-circuit protection. The magnetic trip dial allows you to coordinate the instantaneous trip threshold with downstream devices and motor inrush currents.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
