This Ground Fault Equipment Protector (GFEP) features a 30mA trip threshold. It is designed to protect equipment like heat tracing systems and does not meet the 5mA threshold required for personnel protection.
Which panelboards are compatible with the QBGFEP2020?
This breaker is designed for use in Eaton Pow-R-Line commercial panelboards that accept BAB-frame bolt-on circuit breakers. It is not compatible with standard residential plug-on load centers.
Does the pigtail neutral need to be connected if the load does not require a neutral?
Yes. The white pigtail wire must be connected directly to the panel neutral bar in all installations. This connection powers the internal ground fault circuitry, even if the connected 240V load does not utilize a neutral wire.
How do I wire the load neutral on this breaker?
If your circuit includes a load neutral, such as a 120/240V multi-wire branch circuit, the load neutral wire must connect directly to the neutral lug on the breaker, not the panel neutral bar. If you are wiring a straight 240V load with no neutral, simply leave the breaker's load neutral lug empty.

Expedited Shipments
