6 answersWhat load centers are compatible with the BQC2402120 quad breaker?
This breaker is designed for Eaton Type BR load centers. It is also a UL-approved replacement for legacy panels made by Bryant, Westinghouse, and Challenger that accept 1-inch BR-style breakers.
Will this breaker fit in a non-CTL panel?
No. This is a Circuit Total Limiting (CTL) breaker equipped with a rejection tab. It will only seat properly in load centers that have notched bus stabs designed to accept tandem or quadplex breakers.
How many panel spaces does this quadplex breaker occupy?
Despite providing one 40A 2-pole circuit and two 20A 1-pole circuits, this quadplex breaker only requires two standard 1-inch spaces in your panel.
How are the circuits arranged on the BQC2402120?
The 40-amp 2-pole circuit is located on the two center terminals, while the two 20-amp 1-pole circuits are located on the outer terminals.
Are the 20A circuits on this breaker switch duty rated?
Yes, the 20-amp single-pole circuits are SWD (Switch Duty) rated, allowing them to be used as switches for 120V fluorescent lighting loads.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
