Yes, Eaton Series C breakers are backward compatible and serve as direct, form-fit replacements for legacy Cutler-Hammer and Westinghouse Series C F-frame breakers in existing equipment.
Is the FD3070 rated for 100% continuous duty?
No, standard Eaton Series C FD breakers are 80% rated. For continuous loads lasting three hours or more, the load must not exceed 80% of the 70A nameplate rating, which is 56 amps.
Does the FD3070 support internal accessories like shunt trips?
Yes, Eaton Series C F-frame breakers accept field-installable internal accessories including shunt trips, auxiliary contacts, and undervoltage releases. These install directly inside the breaker housing.
What is the difference between the FD3070 and the HFD3070?
The HFD3070 is the high-interrupting version of this breaker. While both share the exact same F-frame physical dimensions, the HFD3070 offers a higher short-circuit rating of 65kAIC at 480VAC compared to the 35kAIC rating of the standard FD3070.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.

The breaker we purchased was as advertised. The breaker fit perfectly. We purchased reconditioned breaker and it seems to be working properly, accordingly to the golf course maintenance team that supervises the irrigation system.
Next day shipping came quickly even though the 4th of July was coming.
I wish it came with new installations hardware but that isn’t a deal breaker.
