The PDG23M0125TFFL is a 125A, 3-pole MCCB from Eaton's Power Defense series. This Frame 2 device provides reliable long-time and instantaneous (LI) protection for industrial facilities. It mounts into Eaton Power Defense panelboards and enclosures. It also replaces legacy Series C HFD3125 breakers when using a retrofit kit. Rated 65 kAIC at 480V, this current-limiting breaker features fixed thermal-magnetic trip settings. It includes load-side lugs and is HACR rated.Specifications

Yes, this Power Defense Frame 2 breaker is the direct modern replacement for the older 3-pole, 125A, 65kAIC Series C HFD3125. However, if retrofitting into an existing Eaton or Cutler-Hammer panelboard, an updated Pow-R-Line Xpert connector kit is required.
Can I reuse my existing Series C handle mechanisms and accessories with this Power Defense breaker?
No. Although the PDG23M0125TFFL replaces older F-Frame Series C breakers, the physical faceplate and accessory mounting points have been redesigned. Legacy handles, covers, and internal accessories are not backward-compatible and must be upgraded to Power Defense versions.
Are both line and load lugs included with this circuit breaker?
This model is configured with load-side lugs only (part number PDG2X3TA225), which accept 4 AWG to 4/0 AWG copper or aluminum wire. Because it is a bolt-on breaker, the line side is designed to connect directly to the bus of a compatible Eaton Power Defense panelboard.
Can I adjust the trip curve or amperage settings on this breaker in the field?
No, the PDG23M0125TFFL features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. The long-time and instantaneous (LI) protection levels are permanently set at the factory for 125-amp operation and cannot be modified.

Expedited Shipments
