Yes. The GE TED and THED series share the exact same physical E150 frame as the TEB series but feature higher voltage and interrupting ratings. They are physically interchangeable and can safely replace a TEB132030.
Can the TEB132030 replace a TED or THED breaker?
It depends on your system's available fault current. While the TEB132030 is physically identical to TED and THED breakers, it has a lower interrupting rating of 10kAIC. It can only be used as a replacement if the maximum available fault current at the panel is 10,000 amps or less.
Is the TEB132030 suitable for reverse feed applications?
Yes. GE E150 frame breakers, including the TEB series, are not marked with line and load restrictions and are fully suitable for reverse feed installations.
What does the E150 frame designation mean for this breaker?
The E150 frame designation indicates the physical dimensions and the maximum amperage capacity of this breaker family. While this specific TEB132030 model is rated for 30 amps, the E150 frame itself can support trip units up to 150 amps.
Are the trip settings on the TEB132030 adjustable?
