The TEY130 is a bolt-on device engineered specifically for GE A-Series lighting panelboards, which includes the Pro-Stock panel line. It cannot be used in residential GE PowerMark load centers or any enclosures requiring plug-on connections.
Why does my replacement TEY130 arrive with ABB branding instead of General Electric?
ABB acquired GE Industrial Solutions, integrating their electrical product lines. Currently manufactured TEY130 breakers feature ABB branding but remain exact direct replacements for legacy GE TEY models, maintaining identical physical and electrical characteristics.
Can I use a TEYF130 or TEYD130 in place of a standard TEY130?
Yes. The TEYF130 (rated 18kAIC at 277V) and TEYD130 (rated 25kAIC at 277V) share the exact same physical dimensions and mounting footprint as the standard 14kAIC TEY130. They can be used as direct bolt-on replacements if your commercial lighting panel requires a higher short-circuit interrupting rating.
Can the TEY130 miniature circuit breaker be mounted on a standard DIN rail?
No. Although classified as a miniature circuit breaker, the TEY frame does not support 35mm DIN rail installation. It features a specialized mounting base designed strictly for bolting directly to the busbars within an A-Series panelboard chassis.
How does the fixed LI trip function operate on this model?
The LI designation indicates a thermal-magnetic mechanism providing Long-Time (L) and Instantaneous (I) protection. Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
