ABB / General Electric TEYD3025B Miniature Circuit Breaker

The TEYD3025B is designed specifically for use in GE A-Series lighting panelboards. It is a bolt-on breaker and will not fit in standard residential plug-on load centers like GE Powermark Gold.

These breakers share the same physical frame and mount in A-Series panels, but they have different short-circuit interrupting ratings (AIC) at 480/277 VAC. The TEYD series, including the TEYD3025B, is rated for 25 kAIC at 480/277 VAC. Other versions offer lower or higher interrupting capacities, such as the standard TEY (14 kAIC) or the high-interrupting TEYL (65 kAIC).

This is a bolt-on circuit breaker. It bolts directly to the busbar of a compatible GE A-Series panelboard and features load-side lug terminal connections.

The load-side lugs on this breaker accept 10 AWG to 4 AWG wire. Both copper and aluminum conductors are compatible.

The LI designation indicates that the breaker provides fixed Long-Time (thermal) and Instantaneous (magnetic) trip functions. These settings are factory-fixed and cannot be adjusted in the field.

ABB acquired GE Industrial Solutions, so this breaker may be branded as either ABB or General Electric. Regardless of the logo on the label, the TEYD3025B is the exact same component with identical specifications and panel compatibility.

Yes, as a 3-pole breaker, it features an internal common trip bar. If an overcurrent or short circuit occurs on any single phase, the common trip mechanism ensures all three poles trip simultaneously to disconnect power safely.
