Description
A dependable solution for commercial power distribution, the GE TEYD3030B is a 3-pole, 30A miniature circuit breaker. It is equipped with a fixed thermal-magnetic trip mechanism to provide accurate long-time and instantaneous (LI) protection. This Q-Line family breaker is manufactured for bolt-on installation into GE A-Series panelboards. It comes standard with load side lugs that accept 10-4 AWG wiring. This breaker is primarily designed for installation in GE and ABB A-Series lighting panelboards on grounded 480Y/277VAC systems.
Can this breaker be used in standard residential load centers?
No. This is a commercial bolt-on breaker designed for 480Y/277VAC power distribution. It is not compatible with standard residential plug-on load centers.
Can this breaker be surface mounted or used as a standalone unit?
Yes. While it natively bolts to panel busbars, it can be adapted for unit-mount or lug-to-lug applications by installing a TEY3B mounting base accessory.
What is the difference between TEYD, TEYH, and TEYL breakers?
These series share the exact same physical dimensions and 1-inch per pole frame, but they offer different short-circuit interrupting capacities. The TEYD is rated for 25kAIC at 480Y/277VAC, the TEYH is rated for 35kAIC, and the TEYL provides up to 65kAIC.
Is this breaker rated for HVAC or high-intensity lighting circuits?
Yes. TEYD frame breakers rated 50 amps and under are UL listed as both HACR (Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) and HID (High-Intensity Discharge) lighting rated.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
