The TEYL2070B is designed for use in GE A-Series lighting panelboards and Pro-Stock panelboards. Because it features a bolt-on connection, your panelboard interior must be configured to accept bolt-on branch breakers.
What is the difference between a standard TEY and the TEYL2070B?
The L in the TEYL series designates a higher interrupting capacity. While standard TEY breakers are typically rated for 14kA at 480/277VAC, the TEYL2070B provides a 65kA interrupting rating at 480/277VAC and 100kA at 240VAC, making it suitable for systems with higher available fault currents.
What wire sizes are accepted by the lugs on the TEYL2070B?
The factory-installed lugs on this 70A breaker accept wire sizes from 4 AWG to 2/0 AWG. The terminals are rated for both copper and aluminum conductors. Always verify proper torque specifications on the breaker label during installation.
Is the TEYL2070B suitable for use in DC circuits?
Yes, this thermal magnetic breaker is rated for DC systems. It provides an interrupting rating of 42kA at 125VDC and 20kA at 250VDC.
Can I use the TEYL2070B to replace a standard TEY2070B?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
