No. The TEYL3015B is a bolt-on circuit breaker specifically designed for GE A-Series lighting panels and commercial distribution systems. It is not compatible with PowerMark Gold residential load centers that require plug-in THQL style breakers.
What wire gauges are accepted by the lugs on the TEYL3015B?
The factory load lugs accept 14 to 10 AWG copper conductors or 12 to 10 AWG aluminum conductors. Always ensure the lugs are torqued to the specifications listed on the breaker face or panelboard label when landing these smaller gauge wires.
Are the trip settings adjustable on this breaker?
No. This breaker utilizes a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time overload (L) and instantaneous short-circuit (I) protection settings are factory-calibrated and non-adjustable.
Is the TEYL3015B suitable for direct current (DC) systems?
Yes, it carries specific interrupting ratings for DC applications. It is rated to safely interrupt up to 42kAIC at 125VDC and 35kAIC at 250VDC, making it applicable for industrial control panels or battery systems requiring DC branch protection.
What is the difference between GE TEY, TEYD, TEYH, and TEYL circuit breakers?
These models share the same physical footprint and bolt-on mounting hardware for A-Series panelboards, but differ in their short circuit interrupting capacities at 480/277V. The standard TEY is rated at 14kAIC, the TEYD at 25kAIC, the TEYH at 35kAIC, while the TEYL is the highest-rated version at 65kAIC. You can upgrade to a TEYL if higher fault current protection is required, but you cannot substitute a lower-rated breaker unless the available fault current at the installation permits.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
