This bolt-on breaker is designed for use in GE A-Series, GE AQ, and ABB ReliaGear panelboards. It requires a bolt-on connection and will not fit in standard Powermark Gold load centers that use plug-in Q-Line breakers.
What is the difference between GE THQB and THHQB breakers?
The primary difference is the interrupting capacity. Standard THQB breakers are rated at 10kAIC, while THHQB breakers like the THHQB32080 feature a higher interrupting rating of 22kAIC. Both share the same physical dimensions and bolt-on mounting configuration.
What are the wire size and torque specifications for the THHQB32080 lugs?
The box lugs accept 6 to 1/0 AWG copper or 4 to 1/0 AWG aluminum wire. The required tightening torque is 45 in-lb for 6 to 4 AWG wire and 50 in-lb for 3 to 1/0 AWG wire.
Can the THHQB32080 be used on a 480V system?
No, this breaker is rated for a maximum of 240VAC. It cannot be used on 480V or 277/480V electrical systems. For 480V applications, a different breaker frame such as the TEY series is required.
Does the THHQB32080 include ground fault or arc fault protection?
No, this is a standard thermal-magnetic circuit breaker providing overload and short-circuit protection. It does not include GFCI or AFCI functionality.

Expedited Shipments
