What is the difference between the GE TQD and THQD series breakers?
The H in THQD designates a higher interrupting capacity. While standard TQD breakers are typically rated at 10kAIC, the THQD series provides a 22kAIC rating at 240V for environments with higher available fault currents.
What does the WL suffix mean in THQD32100WL?
The WL suffix indicates that the breaker comes with factory-installed wire lugs. The THQD32100 and THQD32100WL are functionally identical and are often used interchangeably in the field.
Can the THQD32100 be backfed when used as a main breaker?
Yes. Because this thermal magnetic breaker does not have specific Line and Load markings, it can be safely backfed and used as a main breaker in compatible panelboards.
Why might this breaker arrive with an ABB label instead of GE?
ABB acquired GE Industrial Solutions in 2018. As a result, newly manufactured Q-Line breakers like the THQD32100 may feature ABB branding. They retain the exact same form, fit, and function as the legacy GE-branded units and are fully interchangeable.
Does the THQD32100 have an adjustable trip setting?
No, this breaker features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit. It provides standard long-time and instantaneous protection functions that cannot be adjusted in the field.

Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
