The B320H is a bolt-on branch breaker designed specifically for Siemens P1, P2, P3, P4, and P5 commercial panelboards. It requires bolted bus connections and cannot be installed in standard plug-on residential load centers.
What is the difference between the Siemens B320 and B320H?
The "H" suffix indicates a high-interrupting capacity. While the standard B320 (BL series) has a short-circuit rating of 10 kAIC at 240VAC, the B320H (BLH series) is rated for 22 kAIC at 240VAC for systems with higher available fault currents.
Can the Siemens B320H be used to replace a legacy ITE B320H?
Yes. Siemens acquired ITE and retained the same physical dimensions, mounting footprint, and bus connections. The current Siemens B320H is a direct, UL listed replacement for older ITE B320H circuit breakers.
What wire gauges are accepted by the B320H terminals?
The factory-installed mechanical lugs on this 20A breaker accept 14 AWG to 10 AWG solid or stranded copper conductors, and 12 AWG to 10 AWG aluminum conductors. Always apply the specific torque value printed on the side label of the breaker during installation.
Does the B320H offer equipment or personnel ground fault protection?
No. The B320H is a standard thermal magnetic circuit breaker that provides basic overload and short-circuit protection. It does not contain GFCI, EPB, or AFCI circuitry.
What do the LI trip functions indicate on the B320H?
The LI designation stands for Long Time and Instantaneous trip functions. The long time thermal element safely delays tripping for minor, temporary overloads, while the instantaneous magnetic element clears severe short circuits immediately.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
