This molded case circuit breaker is designed specifically for installation in Siemens P1, P2, and P3 commercial panelboards.
How is the BQ2B060 connected to the panelboard?
The BQ2B060 uses a bolted line-side connection that fastens directly to the panelboard bus bars. This provides a highly secure, vibration-resistant electrical connection.
Are mounting lugs included with the standard BQ2B060?
Standard BQ bolt-on circuit breakers are factory-supplied with load-side lugs. The line side bolts directly to the panelboard bus. If your application requires line-side lugs instead of a bus connection, you must order the breaker with an 'L' suffix.
What are the wire size and temperature rating requirements for this 60A breaker?
The terminal lugs accept 8-1 AWG copper or 6-1/0 AWG aluminum wire. Because this breaker is rated above 50 amps, UL standards require all connected conductors to be rated for 75 degrees Celsius.
