No. Although it shares the same 1-inch per pole width as some residential breakers, the BQD3100 features a bolt-on line connection designed exclusively for Siemens commercial P-series panelboards (P1 through P5). It will not fit in plug-on load centers.
Can I use the BQD3100 on a 480V corner-grounded delta system?
No. The 480V rating on the BQD3100 applies only to 480Y/277V solid-grounded wye systems. It is not suitable or UL Listed for 3-phase, 480V grounded B-phase (corner-grounded) delta applications.
What if my P1 panelboard requires a higher interrupting rating than 14kAIC at 480V?
The BQD3100 is strictly rated for 14kAIC at 480Y/277VAC. If your fault current study requires a higher rating, Siemens offers the GB family for the same panelboards, including the NGB (25kAIC), HGB (35kAIC), and LGB (65kAIC) frames.
Is there a DIN rail-mountable equivalent to the BQD3100?
Yes. If your control panel requires DIN rail mounting instead of a bolt-on connection, the Siemens CQD3100 offers the exact same 100A rating and 14kAIC at 480Y/277V in a cable-in/cable-out configuration.
Can the BQD3100 be used in a reverse-feed application?
Yes. The BQD3100 is not marked with line and load restrictions and is UL Listed for reverse-feed applications, making it suitable for back-feeding in compatible panelboards.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
