Yes, the Siemens ED63B015 serves as a direct replacement for the legacy I-T-E ED63B015. Siemens continues to manufacture these Sentron series ED frame breakers to the original physical and electrical specifications, ensuring compatibility with older I-T-E equipment.
Does the ED63B015 include lugs, and what wire sizes are supported?
Standard load lugs are included with the breaker. The terminals accept 14 to 10 AWG copper wire or 12 to 10 AWG aluminum wire.
How does this breaker mount to the panelboard bus?
This Sentron breaker requires a direct bolt-on connection to the panelboard bus. This provides a secure mechanical and electrical contact for commercial and industrial applications, and it cannot be used in standard plug-in load centers.
Are the thermal or magnetic trip settings adjustable?
No. The ED63B015 is a standard thermal magnetic breaker equipped with fixed long-time and fixed instantaneous (LI) trip functions. Neither trip threshold can be adjusted in the field.
Can this circuit breaker be used in direct current (DC) applications?
Yes. While commonly installed in AC systems, the ED63B015 is also rated for DC applications. It carries a maximum direct current interrupting rating of 30kA at 250VDC.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
