How does the FXD6 series differ from the FD6 series?
The FXD6 series features a non-interchangeable, fixed thermal trip unit. The FD6 series allows for interchangeable trip units. Both use the same physical FD frame size.
Which Siemens enclosures are compatible with this FD frame breaker?
This breaker fits in Sentron FD frame enclosures. Compatible models include the F6N1S for NEMA 1 surface mounting, F6N1F for NEMA 1 flush mounting, F6N3R for NEMA 3R outdoor applications, and FD6SS4 for NEMA 4/4X environments.
How is the magnetic trip adjusted on the FXD62B250L?
While the thermal trip is fixed at 250A, the instantaneous magnetic trip can be adjusted from 1100A to 2500A using the dial on the front of the breaker. This allows you to fine-tune short-circuit protection for your specific application.
Can I install this unit mount breaker directly into a Siemens P1 or P2 panelboard?
Yes, but because it is a unit mount, feed-thru breaker, it does not plug directly onto the bus. You will need the correct mounting strap kit or hardware specific to your P1, P2, or P3 panelboard to complete the installation.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
