No. This circuit breaker utilizes a bolt-on connection designed strictly for commercial and industrial Siemens P1, P2, and P3 panelboards. It will not physically fit or safely connect to the bus bars in standard plug-on residential load centers.
What is the difference between Siemens NEB and HEB frame breakers?
Both are part of the Siemens EG frame family and share the same physical dimensions, but the HEB frame is the high-interrupting version. The HEB provides superior short-circuit protection, reaching up to 100kAIC at 240VAC and 65kAIC at 480VAC. The standard NEB frame carries lower maximum interrupting ratings at these voltages.
Does the HEB3B020B include wire lugs for both the line and load sides?
No. Because this is a panelboard-mount breaker, the line side bolts directly to the internal bus bars of the panel. Wire lugs are only provided on the load side for landing your outgoing branch circuit conductors.
Can the trip settings be modified in the field on the HEB3B020B?
No, the thermal-magnetic trip unit is completely fixed. Both the long-time overload and instantaneous short-circuit protection thresholds are permanently factory-calibrated for a 20-amp load and cannot be field-adjusted.
Is it code-compliant to install this HEB frame breaker in a non-Siemens panelboard?
No. For safety and UL compliance, Siemens bolt-on breakers must only be installed in approved Siemens commercial panelboards. Retrofitting them into panels from other manufacturers compromises the electrical connection and violates electrical safety codes.

Expedited Shipments
