This bolt-on breaker is designed for use in Siemens Sentron P1, P2, and P3 panelboards, as well as SB switchboards and Siemens motor control centers.
Does the HED43B090 include both line and load lugs?
No. As a bolt-on breaker, the line side bolts directly to the panelboard bus. It only includes mechanical lugs on the load side for wire termination.
Can the Siemens HED43B090 replace older ITE versions of the same model?
Yes. Siemens acquired ITE and continued the Sentron ED frame line. A modern Siemens HED43B090 is a direct, UL listed replacement for older ITE breakers with the exact same catalog number.
What is the difference between the ED43B090 and the HED43B090?
The HED43B090 is the high-interrupting version of the standard ED43B090. It provides a higher fault current rating of 42kA at 480VAC, compared to the standard 18kA rating of the ED4 model.
Is the HED43B090 suitable for direct current (DC) systems?
Yes. In addition to its AC ratings, this thermal-magnetic breaker is UL listed for DC applications with an interrupting rating of 30kA at 250VDC.
Are the trip settings adjustable on the HED43B090?
No. This breaker features a fixed thermal and fixed magnetic trip unit, providing standard long-time and instantaneous (LI) protection without adjustable dials.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
