While both are 110-amp, 3-pole ED frame breakers, they differ in their short-circuit interrupting capabilities. The HED43B110 is a high-interrupting breaker rated for 42kAIC at 480VAC, whereas the standard ED43B110 is rated for 18kAIC at 480VAC.
Can the Siemens HED43B110 be reverse fed?
Yes. Siemens ED frame thermal-magnetic circuit breakers, including the HED43B110, do not have Line and Load markings and are suitable for reverse feed applications.
Will the Siemens HED43B110 replace an older I-T-E HED43B110?
Yes. Siemens acquired I-T-E and retained the original ED frame footprint. A new Siemens HED43B110 will physically fit and function as a direct replacement for an obsolete I-T-E breaker with the exact same catalog number.
Are the trip units on the HED43B110 adjustable or interchangeable?

Expedited Shipments
