This ED frame breaker mounts directly into Siemens Sentron P1, P2, and P3 panelboards, as well as compatible Siemens switchboards designed for bolt-on breakers.
What distinguishes the HHED6 series from standard ED4 or ED6 breakers?
The HHED6 series designates a much higher short-circuit interrupting rating within the Sentron ED frame family. It provides up to 65kAIC at 480VAC and 100kAIC at 240VAC, allowing it to be installed in systems with higher available fault currents than standard ED4, ED6, or HED4 models.
Can the HHED63B125 replace an older ED6 or HED4 breaker?
Yes. Because they share the exact same physical dimensions and bolt-on mounting configuration within the Siemens ED frame family, this breaker can physically replace lower-rated ED4, ED6, or HED4 models while upgrading the overall short-circuit rating of the circuit.
What wire sizes do the factory lugs on this breaker accept?
The standard installed lugs accept 3 AWG to 3/0 AWG copper wire or 1 AWG to 2/0 AWG aluminum wire. Always refer to the label on the side of the breaker for specific torque requirements during termination.
Is the trip unit on the HHED63B125 adjustable?
No, this breaker features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. Both the long-time overload protection and the instantaneous short-circuit protection are preset at the factory and cannot be adjusted by the installer.
Can this 3-pole breaker be utilized on DC circuits?
Yes, in addition to its standard AC ratings, this breaker is certified for use on 250VDC systems with a DC interrupting capacity of 30kA.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
