What level of ground fault protection does the QF215 provide?
It provides Class A ground fault protection, meaning it is calibrated to trip when it detects a ground fault leakage current of 5mA (typically between 4mA and 6mA) to protect personnel from electrical shock.
Does the pigtail neutral need to be connected if the 240V load does not require a neutral?
Yes. The factory-installed white pigtail neutral must be connected to the panel's neutral bus bar for the breaker's internal ground fault circuitry to function properly, even for straight 240V loads that do not use a load neutral.
Can this 2-pole GFCI breaker be used for 120/240V multi-wire branch circuits?
Yes. It can protect 3-wire 120/240V circuits. When used this way, the load neutral wire must be connected to the load neutral terminal on the breaker.
What is the difference between the QF215 and the QF215A or Q215GF?
The QF215 is the standard legacy GFCI model, while the QF215A and Q215GF are newer revisions that incorporate an automated self-test and lockout feature to meet updated UL 943 safety standards.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.

Expedited Shipments
