What level of ground-fault protection does the QF215A provide?
It provides Class A ground-fault protection with a 5 mA trip sensitivity, designed to protect personnel from electrical shock in wet or damp locations.
How do I wire the neutral connection on the QF215A?
This breaker features a pigtail neutral. The white pigtail wire must be connected directly to the panel neutral bus bar for the GFCI electronics to function properly.
Can I use this 2-pole GFCI breaker for a straight 240V load that does not have a neutral wire?
Yes. For straight 240V loads without a neutral, simply leave the load neutral terminal on the breaker empty. However, the white pigtail on the breaker must still be connected to the panel neutral bus bar to power the internal GFCI sensor.
What is the difference between the Siemens QF215 and the QF215A?
The QF215A is the updated version of the older QF215. The A designation indicates that it includes an automated self-test and lockout feature to comply with updated UL 943 standards for GFCI protection.
How does the self-test feature on the QF215A work?
The breaker automatically and continuously tests its internal GFCI electronics. If it detects a failure in the ground-fault protection, it will trip and lock out to prevent the circuit from operating without safety protection.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
