5 answersWhat equipment is compatible with the BDA36025 circuit breaker?
The BDA36025 is designed exclusively for use in Square D I-Line panelboards and switchboards. It cannot be used in standard QO, Homeline, or NQ panelboards.
Can the BDA36025 replace older Square D F-Frame circuit breakers?
Yes. The PowerPacT B-Frame is the designated replacement for legacy Square D FA and FH series circuit breakers. The BDA36025 maintains the same I-Line mounting space dimensions as the discontinued FA36025, allowing for a direct retrofit without modifying the panelboard bus.
How does the BDA36025 connect to the panelboard?
The line side features an integral I-Line plug-on jaw that connects directly to the panelboard bus using an ABC phase sequence. The load side is equipped with mechanical lugs for wire termination.
What are the load lug torque specifications for the BDA36025?
The required tightening torque depends on the conductor size. Torque 14 to 10 AWG wire to 31.9 to 38.9 lb-in. For 8 to 2/0 AWG wire, torque to 44.3 to 54.9 lb-in.
Does the BDA36025 provide ground fault or arc fault protection?
No. This breaker features a standard thermal-magnetic trip unit with fixed Long-Time and Instantaneous (LI) protection for overloads and short circuits. It does not include ground fault or arc fault capabilities.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
