This E-frame circuit breaker is designed exclusively for use in Square D NF series panelboards. It features a bolt-on mounting style and will not fit NQ or I-Line panelboards.
What is the difference between Square D EDB, EGB, and EJB circuit breakers?
The difference lies in their interrupting ratings at 480Y/277VAC. EDB breakers are rated at 18 kAIC, EGB breakers are rated at 35 kAIC, and EJB breakers provide the highest rating at 65 kAIC. They share the same physical footprint and fit the same NF panelboards.
Is the EDB24090 circuit breaker HACR rated?
Yes, this breaker is HACR rated, making it suitable for use with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
What is the recommended lug torque for the EDB24090?
The tightening torque depends on the wire size used. For 14-10 AWG conductors, torque the lugs to 34.5 lb-in. For larger 8-2/0 AWG conductors, torque to 49.6 lb-in.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
