The EGB24015 is designed exclusively for use in Square D NF series panelboards. It will not fit in NQ, I-Line, or QO load centers.

The G designates the interrupting rating tier within the Square D E-Frame family. EGB breakers provide a 35kAIC rating at 480Y/277VAC, which is higher than the standard EDB (18kAIC) but lower than the high-interrupting EJB (65kAIC).
Can I replace an EDB24015 with an EGB24015?
Yes. The EGB24015 shares the exact same physical dimensions and mounting footprint as the EDB24015, but offers a higher short-circuit interrupting rating (35kAIC versus 18kAIC at 480Y/277VAC).
What is the recommended lug tightening torque for the EGB24015?
The load lugs on the EGB24015 should be torqued to 30 lbf-in (3.4 N-m) when using 14 to 6 AWG copper or 12 to 6 AWG aluminum wire.

Expedited Shipments
