The EH24030 is designed specifically for legacy Square D NEHB panelboards. It features a plug-on mounting design that connects directly to the panel busbar.
What is the difference between Square D EH and EHB circuit breakers?
Both series are designed for legacy NEHB panelboards and offer identical electrical protection. The difference lies in the mounting style. EH breakers, such as the EH24030, use a plug-on connection, while EHB breakers use a bolt-on connection.
Can I install a modern Square D EDB breaker in place of the EH24030?
No. While EDB breakers are the modern 480Y/277V replacement series, they are built exclusively for newer NF series panelboards. They will not physically fit or mount into legacy NEHB panelboards, which require EH or EHB series breakers.
What does the LI trip function indicate on the EH24030?
The LI designation means the breaker is equipped with a thermal-magnetic trip unit providing Long-Time (thermal) overload protection and Instantaneous (magnetic) short-circuit protection. Both of these trip thresholds are fixed and cannot be adjusted in the field.
Is the Square D EH series still actively manufactured?
No. The EH breaker series and the corresponding NEHB panelboards are legacy products that have been discontinued by Schneider Electric. Replacing a breaker in an existing NEHB panel requires sourcing these specific legacy components.

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
