The EHB24030 is engineered specifically for legacy Square D NEHB series panelboards. It features a bolt-on connection designed for the bussing in NEHB interiors and will not fit other panel types.
Can I substitute a newer EDB series breaker for the EHB24030?
No. Modern EDB series circuit breakers are not backwards compatible with legacy NEHB panelboards. You must use an EHB series breaker for an exact-fit replacement in an NEHB interior.
Is the Square D EHB24030 an active or legacy product?
The EHB series is obsolete. This unit serves as a direct replacement for maintaining or expanding existing electrical systems that currently rely on legacy NEHB panelboards.
Does this 2-pole breaker require a specific mounting position in the panel?
No. NEHB panelboards utilize distributed phase bussing, which allows this bolt-on branch circuit breaker to be mounted in any available position. Ensure the panelboard is de-energized prior to installation.
Can the EHB24030 be applied on a 120/240V AC system instead of 480Y/277V AC?
Yes. While frequently installed in 480Y/277V AC systems with a 14kAIC rating, it is also fully rated for use on 120/240V AC systems where it provides a higher 65kAIC interrupting rating.
Does this breaker feature adjustable trip settings?
No. The EHB24030 utilizes a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit. The Long-Time and Instantaneous (LI) trip functions are factory set for a 30 Amp load and cannot be field adjusted.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
