Description
Built for commercial applications, the Square D EHB34025 is a 3-pole, 25A molded case circuit breaker delivering reliable overcurrent protection. It features a Visi-Trip indicator to easily spot tripped circuits. This breaker installs into legacy Square D NEHB panelboards. Although replaced by the EDB series, EDB breakers require NF panelboards and cannot be used in older NEHB enclosures. The EHB34025 is a bolt-on branch breaker designed exclusively for legacy Square D NEHB lighting panelboards. It will not mount in NF or NQOD series enclosures.
Is the EHB34025 interchangeable with Square D EDB breakers?
No. While they share similar electrical profiles, EDB circuit breakers are manufactured for modern NF panelboards. The EHB34025 has a distinct physical footprint and bus connection required specifically for NEHB panelboards.
What does the 480Y/277VAC rating mean for system compatibility?
The slash rating restricts this breaker to solid-grounded wye systems where the line-to-ground voltage does not exceed 277V. It is strictly prohibited by code for use on ungrounded or corner-grounded 480V Delta systems.
Is the EHB34025 HACR rated?
Yes, this unit is HACR rated, meeting National Electrical Code requirements for overcurrent protection on heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
Is the Square D EHB series obsolete?

Free Shipping Policy
Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
International Shipping
