4 answersCan I replace my EHB34050 with a newer EDB34050 circuit breaker?
No. While the EDB34050 is the modern 50A equivalent, EDB breakers are designed exclusively for newer NF panelboards. They will not physically fit into a legacy NEHB panelboard, which requires an EHB-series breaker.
Is the EHB34050 approved for use on an ungrounded 480V Delta system?
No. This breaker is slash-rated for 480Y/277VAC, which restricts its application to solidly grounded Wye systems where the line-to-ground voltage does not exceed 277V. It cannot be safely used on ungrounded or corner-grounded Delta systems.
How much mounting space does the EHB34050 require?
This E-frame circuit breaker requires 3 inches of horizontal panel space. Each of the three poles occupies exactly 1 inch of width.
How do I reset the EHB34050 after a trip?
When a fault occurs, the handle moves to a center position and a VISI-TRIP indicator appears in the breaker window. To restore power, firmly push the handle to the extreme OFF position to reset the internal mechanism, then push it back to the ON position.

Parcel shipments with item value over $99 qualify for free economy shipping within the continental US. Please call to confirm special handling instructions. We do not charge a handling fee or require a minimum amount on any order. SuperBreakers does not ship on customer accounts.
Same Day Shipping
We strive to ship out your items the same day the order is placed. In rare circumstances SuperBreakers may reserve up to 5 business days to consolidate orders for complete shipment.
Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
