This breaker is specifically designed for use in legacy Square D NEHB lighting and appliance branch-circuit panelboards.
What is the modern replacement for the EHB34070?
The EHB series and NEHB panelboards are obsolete legacy products. If you are replacing the entire panelboard with a modern Square D NF series panel, the direct equivalent breaker is the EDB34070. However, modern EDB breakers will not physically fit into older NEHB panelboards.
What wire size range is accepted by the EHB34070 lugs?
The factory lugs accept 14 AWG to 2/0 AWG for copper conductors, and 12 AWG to 2/0 AWG for aluminum conductors.
Can the EHB34070 be used on ungrounded 480V delta systems?
No. Because this breaker carries a 480Y/277VAC slash voltage rating, it is strictly intended for use on solidly grounded wye electrical systems. It cannot be safely applied on ungrounded or corner-grounded 480V delta systems.
How does this breaker connect to the panelboard bus?
It is a bolt-on circuit breaker that secures directly to the bus bar of the NEHB panelboard using mounting screws, ensuring a stable and reliable physical connection.

Same Day Shipping

Expedited Shipments
Orders being shipped via Next Day Air, 2 Day Shipping or 3 Day Shipping must be received by 3 PM EST to guarantee same-day shipments. Expedited orders only ship on normal business days. Shipments will NOT be sent out on Saturdays and Sundays.
